JobSniper Hackathon: Terms & Conditions

By registering for or participating in the JobSniper Hackathon ("The Event"), you agree to the following terms:

1. Right to Modify or Cancel

JobSniper reserves the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the Event at any time, without prior notice or liability, if the minimum threshold of qualified registrations (100 verified developers) is not met, or for any other operational reasons.

2. Acquisition Contract & Prize Disbursement

The stated grand prizes (e.g., the $20,000 Total Package) consist of an upfront cash portion and a conditional Acquisition Contract.

  • The Acquisition Contract ($15,000) is strictly conditional upon the winning project passing a comprehensive Technical Due Diligence review by JobSniper's engineering team.
  • If the winning codebase cannot be viably integrated into JobSniper's existing Node.js architecture, JobSniper reserves the right to withhold the Acquisition Contract portion. The winner will still retain the upfront cash portion ($5,000).

3. Judging Criteria

Projects will be judged on technical feasibility, innovation, and direct value to the JobSniper ecosystem. The decisions of the JobSniper judging panel are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or review.

4. No Employment Relationship

Participation in this Hackathon does not constitute an employment, contractor, or agency relationship between the participant and JobSniper.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall JobSniper, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your participation in the Event.
